Key Responsibilities
  • Manage environmental impact assessment and permitting projects for a diverse range of clients, including federal and local government, transportation, energy, utilities, and data center development.
  • Mentor staff and provide technical expertise to internal staff and clients, coordinating permit approvals with regulatory officials.
  • Accelerate through AECOM's in-house Project Management certification program within the first year of employment.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver business strategy and tactics, high-quality proposals, and documents and report deliverables.
  • Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience managing projects and teams to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience with CWA, ESA, NHPA, NEPA, and/or other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, interdisciplinary teams, and workload.
  • Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or other project management certification.
  • 10 years of experience providing environmental assessment and permitting compliance support.
  • Experience with wetland and/or stream restoration and/or natural resources damage assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing client relationships with an ability to generate new work for the team, office, and company.
