This role is integral to the Space Program, providing comprehensive Systems Engineering and Integration services to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program encompasses full lifecycle acquisition across various mission domains within a sophisticated national systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure comprehensive closure of requirements baseline for Space Indications and Warning (I&W) programs and associated initiatives.
  • Adhere to readiness protocols for Integration and Closure (I&C).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise, managing action tracking and follow-up.
  • Support system integration for new initiatives aimed at enhancing mission capabilities.
  • Evaluate requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architectural products, system timelines, and associated risks.
  • Act as the Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) 'trusted agent', presenting assessments and offering strategic recommendations to fulfill mission objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 12 years of experience with a BS/BA, 8 to 10 years with an MS/MA, or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) clients.
  • Familiarity with Ground systems and the overall architecture of space and ground systems.
  • Understanding of mission technical capabilities and system performance evaluation.
  • Experience in Mission Planning, Control, or Processing functions supporting space and ground systems.
  • Proficient in identifying user and enterprise needs, along with gap analysis and assessment.
  • Background in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, testing, and system integration to support End-to-End Systems Engineering.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and experience in daily interactions with government clients.
  • Knowledge of Ground or Space systems.
  • Experience with Indications & Warning (I&W) systems.
  • Familiarity with DOORs requirements database management.
  • Experience with Rhapsody and SysML applications, Confluence, and Jira.
  • A strong desire to learn, assist others, share knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to the mission.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large-scale acquisition systems engineering efforts, methodologies, and processes.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace.
  • Organized and adaptable.
