Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
