Job Title: Bartender

Location: Residence Inn Seattle South Renton

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Residence Inn Seattle South Renton. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, serving guests in the bar, restaurant, and room service, and ensuring that our guests enjoy a quality food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests in the bar, restaurant, and room service attentively and efficiently.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks, serving wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
  • Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
  • Clean and wash bar ware, utensils, and the bar area, restocking and prepping bar items as needed.
  • Assist with quality, cleanliness, and organization of the bar, restaurant, and kitchen.
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required.
  • Some locations may require bartending experience specifically.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
  • Must be able to stand and move around for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit and Alcohol Servers Permit.
  • Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range: $16.28 an hour + tips
