Job Summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Sheetmetal Technician Senior to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely laying out, fabricating, and installing sheetmetal parts and equipment on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use complex schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions to perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring they meet quality control standards.
  • Oversee projects and assess requirements to procure necessary materials and documentation.
  • Operate shop equipment, such as brakes, presses, and riveting equipment, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct monthly 5S audits and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of sheetmetal or fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
  • Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
