Waste Management Specialist

Rumpke Waste and Recycling, a leading waste management company in Kentucky, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, we also provide:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all levels of preventative maintenance services, inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure proper working condition. You will also be required to repair and troubleshoot major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A good mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and repair
- In-depth knowledge of truck components and systems
- The ability to read and speak the English language
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
