This role offers you the opportunity to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and case management for patients as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.

You will work with patients in recovery by coordinating, planning, and engaging with education programming services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Substance Use Disorder assessments in office-based, inpatient, or community settings as necessary.
  • Develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and conduct individual and group counseling sessions within the provisions of MultiCare's policies and standards.
  • Respond to referrals from various locations in the community to perform Substance Use Disorder assessments and make treatment recommendations and care coordination.
  • Provide care coordination and case management services, brief therapy, and motivational interviewing with a focus on rapid placement into the least restrictive appropriate level of care.
  • Develop relationships with community resources and develop treatment and safety plans to assist individuals and their natural and professional supports in resolving chemically induced crises.
  • Connect patients and professionals with accurate program and agency resources.
  • Complete all required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certification.
  • Current Washington state driver's license.
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent work experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.
  • Proof of a safe driving record obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.

Pay and Benefits:

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.

The pay scale is $ 45.89 USD.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
