About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Charge Nurse to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with evening shifts.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Psychiatric Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our psychiatric unit. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Implementing nursing interventions and evaluating their effectiveness
  • Providing leadership and guidance to other nurses and healthcare team members

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • No experience required, but one year of medical/psychiatric experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records system
