The City of Stoughton Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of AEMT/Firefighter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing A-EMT duties as set forth by Wisconsin Statute/Administrative Rule, and performing Fire Fighter essential job tasks as outlined in NFPA Standard 1001, with a focus on administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform A-EMT duties, including patient care and emergency medical services.
- Perform Fire Fighter duties, including firefighting, equipment maintenance, and emergency response.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and response to emergencies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and protocols.
Requirements:
- Valid AEMT certification and Fire Fighter certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
