">Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team at Pelican Bay Foundation. As a culinary expert, you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for members and their guests. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and cook high-quality food items according to standardized recipes while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and exceed member satisfaction.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality food items according to standardized recipes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Kitchen Operations: Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Member Satisfaction: Monitor member satisfaction and address any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintenance: Maintain proper and adequate set-up of assigned area and properly store and secure product and equipment at end of shift.
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
">- Culinary Experience: Minimum of six months of experience in a culinary environment within hospitality.
- Customer Service: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service while collaborating with other team members to ensure member satisfaction.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
">The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package that includes generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, and Vision options, 401k with excellent employer match, Free Team Member Meals, and more.
