About the Role

Purdue Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Custodian to join our Building Services team. As a Night Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment at our University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial activities, including mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, as well as disinfecting toilets and sinks, cleaning walls, and washing windows.
  • Operate and maintain power and non-power equipment, including mops, shovels, brooms, pressure washers, scrubbers, power floor sweepers, shampoos, vacuums, high-speed floor machines, buffers, walk-behind floor machines, and floor machine riders.
  • Provide assistance in the absence of other custodial team members to ensure cleaning frequencies are met.
  • Assist in setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment to accommodate various on-campus event activities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required, but previous custodial/janitorial experience is preferred.
