Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare experience, including BONENT certification, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy
