Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Quality Drive-In I, LLC. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our drive-in restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations, including training and supporting employees to ensure quality food service.
  • Direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards.
  • Monitor and make adjustments to staffing levels, inventory levels, and food cost control.
  • Complete weekly inventory and assist with administrative duties, including maintaining files and records.
  • Reinforce a customer service mentality and ensure all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations required.
  • Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience required.
  • Effective communication skills, basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems.
