Instructional Interventionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Interventionist to join our team at Peterson Central Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction and support to students who are at risk in Reading/Language Arts and Math.

• Provide targeted instruction and support to students who require additional assistance in Reading/Language Arts and Math.
• Maintain accurate and complete records and documentation of student progress and intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement tiered intervention plans.
• Participate in progress monitoring and analysis of data to identify students who require additional support.
• Work cooperatively with parents and guardians to share knowledge and develop skills to support student learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

• WV Teaching Certificate, Elementary Education Certificate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Reading/Language Arts and Math instructional strategies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

This is a contract/hourly employment position, with up to 16 hours per week as needed. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student learning and achievement.
