Role Overview
This position requires a Medical Technologist (MT, MLT or MLS) certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret tests at all complexity levels, maintain regulatory knowledge and awareness, adhere to quality control policies.
- Maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and required annual competency assessment.
- Identify and correct problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLT or MLS) or certification eligible, from the ASCP or AMT.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year based on location and experience.
