Job Description

Position: General Maintenance
Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour
Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays

Reporting To: Facilities Manager

Overview: Responsible for the upkeep of facilities and equipment through general repair tasks that do not necessitate specialized skills. Ensure the maintenance of the building environment and grounds through routine cleaning, landscaping, and event setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that facilities and mechanical systems comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain the overall accessibility and appearance of the buildings through various tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Regular and deep cleaning
    • Trash collection
    • Landscaping duties
    • Painting and touch-ups
    • Pressure washing
    • Changing and installing light fixtures
  • Event setup responsibilities, which may include:
    • Relocating furniture across different levels and buildings
    • Arranging pipe and drape, dance floors, staging, screens, etc.
    • Interpreting floor plans to meet specifications
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Document work orders with detailed service information.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance roles.
  • Basic knowledge of pressure washing techniques.
  • Familiarity with tools, common appliances, and devices.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Additional Insights:

Seeking individuals who can contribute innovative ideas to enhance processes that align with the company's objectives. Participation in weekly meetings to discuss and refine quality and processes is expected.
