The Hotel Colorado is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a welcoming demeanor and exceptional attention to detail. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks while engaging with a diverse clientele in a diplomatic manner. Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
Compensation: $22/hr DOE
Benefits: Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K after one year, accrued vacation and sick time, complimentary employee meals during shifts, discounted rates at our sister property, and access to company ski passes during the season. A free bus pass will be provided after 30 days of employment, based on home address. Additionally, our Employee Assistance Program is available for all employees and their immediate family members.
About Hotel Colorado: Established in 1893, Hotel Colorado has a rich history of providing exceptional hospitality. We are currently undergoing renovations to enhance our facilities, including comprehensive updates to guest rooms and meeting spaces. As the only full-service hotel in the area, we offer a variety of dining options, catering services, and accommodations for groups of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and facilitate check-in procedures, ensuring all necessary information is collected and entered accurately.
- Address guest inquiries in a professional manner, providing information on hotel services, local attractions, and safety protocols.
- Assist guests in fulfilling their needs to ensure a pleasant stay, including making reservations for dining and entertainment.
- Resolve guest complaints effectively, using sound judgment or escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Manage incoming phone calls, taking messages and providing information as required.
- Process reservations for future guests, ensuring compliance with hotel policies regarding cancellations and availability.
- Facilitate check-out procedures, including bill computation and payment collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Stay informed about hotel amenities and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including filing and record-keeping.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
