Rod Busters at Allied Concrete play a crucial role in the construction process by reinforcing concrete structures. This position involves the precise placement and securing of steel rebar and metallic reinforcements within various concrete forms.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Ironworkers to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. As a Rod Buster, you will work closely with other crew members, supervisors, and project managers to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the placement of rebar within concrete forms.
  2. Cutting, bending, and threading rebar using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as cutting shears, benders, and rebar-tying machines.
  3. Placing and securing rebar in concrete forms using wire, pliers, and other tools. Ensuring all reinforcements are correctly spaced, aligned, and tied according to project specifications.
  4. Assisting in setting up and dismantling concrete forms and scaffolding. Ensuring all formwork is properly installed and secured before placing rebar.
  5. Inspecting all work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Making adjustments as necessary to ensure compliance.
  6. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
