Software Assurance Engineer

ManTech International Corporation is seeking a motivated and career-oriented Software Assurance Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools, contributing to developing testing methodologies, and creating test cases that support SwA tool analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with a team to analyze source code using automated SwA tools
  • Developing testing methodologies and creating test cases that support SwA tool analysis
  • Supporting testing of client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation
  • Designing and testing source code SwA analysis processes
  • Interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering
  • 12 years' experience in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment
  • Or 8 years' experience with a Master's Degree in software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering
  • Five years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses
  • Three years of experience designing and testing SwA Analysis Processes
  • Three years of experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software
  • Three years of experience in Python programming (or some other scripting language)
  • Five years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues
  • Two years of experience performing statistical analysis
  • Minimum of five years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#
