Job Summary

Coronet Inc is seeking a skilled Lighting Assembler to join our team. As a Lighting Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating lighting parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications in a production line environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Utilize hand-held tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to assemble and fabricate lighting components.
  • Maintain inventory of products in workstations and perform quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete documentation when defects are identified.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be proficient in English and able to follow directions.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems and think creatively.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • Basic computer navigation/utilization skills a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required.
Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Regularly lift 20-40 pounds; may have to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to assemble parts or pieces quickly and accurately.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
