**Job Description**

MiTek USA is a leading innovator in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and we are seeking a highly skilled AI R&D Engineer to join our team.

This role will be a hybrid opportunity, allowing for flexibility between working near one of our offices or fully remotely. As an AI R&D Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, develop and deploy scalable and robust machine learning solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and experimental evaluations of state-of-the-art algorithms, models, services, and tools.
  • Develop and iterate on proof-of-concept projects in an agile fashion, including data annotation and labeling.
  • Work on large-scale datasets, applying data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and analysis techniques.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and domain experts to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in AI and ML, identifying new opportunities and challenges.
  • Engage with customers and partners to understand their pain points and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions required.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL required.
  • Experience with wide range of machine learning, deep learning, and deployment frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, OpenCV, Restful APIs, Docker, GPT APIs, Flask, Huggingface required.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
