Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe and administer medical treatments, including medications and therapies, in accordance with approved protocols and guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and current health status.
- Counsel patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and health promotion strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other advanced practice providers, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
