Gluer Operator

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a skilled Gluer Operator to join our team in Mitchell, SD. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining straight-line gluers and related peripheral converting equipment.

The Gluer Operator will be responsible for ensuring high-quality products while maintaining efficient production processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Operate and maintain straight-line gluers and related peripheral converting equipment
• Interpret and document standards related to equipment and product performance/quality
• Maintain equipment and perform minor maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrations, adjustments, repairs, and authorized modifications
• Lead a crew of assigned members and motivate them to ensure quality, efficiency, area cleanliness, safety, and SQF standards are maintained
• Test and inspect products to ensure consistent quality and operational standards
• Verify and communicate both product standards and work standards to execute production

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (6:00 to 6:00) and be willing and able to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required
• 3-2-2 schedule (rotating days of the week)
