Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to contribute to our financial operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the month-end closing activities, managing accounts receivable, and assisting with accounts payable tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the month-end closing process, which includes performing general ledger reconciliations and posting monthly journal entries.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring the maintenance of customer accounts, timely invoicing, and accurate daily cash receipts.
  • Assist in the accounts payable process, collaborating with the team to verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Handle various clerical tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Excel, with a strong understanding of pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across various levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
