Job Title: Teller Retail Banker

At Woodforest National Bank, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Teller Retail Banker to join our team in Indiana-Shelbyville. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and sales experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve individual sales goals by identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle branch servicing duties, including vault balancing, cash ordering, and ATM maintenance.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of relevant sales and/or customer service experience or equivalent education or volunteer service.
  • Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
  • Positive and engaging attitude with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for most of the time, with occasional walking, moving, bending, or sitting. Lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds may be required.
