Plumbing Technician

We are seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our skilled team at ForceSource. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist experienced plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Participate in field service calls, providing assistance on-site for residential or commercial plumbing issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Help with HVAC-related tasks as needed, gaining exposure to related systems.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all duties to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems or related fields such as HVAC is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics is advantageous but not required at the start.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
• Willingness to undergo training and participate in ongoing education within the plumbing trade.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
