Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at George Schmitt & Company. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for:

  1. Inspecting products, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  2. Managing process paperwork for critical customer/production processes.
  3. Supporting the administration and execution of facility quality programs.
  4. Conducting daily audits of departmental processes and paperwork.
  5. Preparing reports and analysis as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of quality department experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications/requirements.
  • Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing.
