Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner Specialist

Spero Health is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with complex addiction and substance-related health conditions.
- Document patient information accurately and support professional billing for services.
- Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding illness, prognosis, and treatment plans.
- Interpret test results, diagnose health issues, and provide feedback to patients.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex needs.
- Conduct patient follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education credits.
- Active and unrestricted medical license as a physician or nurse practitioner within the applicable state.
- Experience providing addiction medicine services to complex populations and managing substance use disorders.
- Ability to develop relationships with network physicians and other providers.
- Current DEA licensure and prescriptive authority in applicable states.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
