Warehouse Material Handler

Job Overview

The Material Handler is essential for the effective physical management of finished products, returns, and discrepancies in inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the physical processing of canceled production runs, returns, and reductions in scale.
• Repackage and recover finished products as necessary.
• Conduct thorough investigations into inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper placement of materials within the facility.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English is essential.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction) are necessary.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day, for a maximum of 6 days a week.
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift consistently throughout the day.
• Willingness to become certified on wave and order picker equipment.
• Work is primarily conducted while standing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.
• A strong sense of urgency is required.
• Availability for regular overtime (2-3 hours) on a consistent basis, up to 6 days a week.
