Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients and assisting in the float station
  • Administering injections, phlebotomy draws, and performing EKGs
  • Communicating with patients and patient's family to provide advice, patient education forms, and ensure completion of appropriate patient forms
  • Complying with procedures and policies to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
  • Traveling to other locations as needed

Requirements:

  • Licensed by Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • CPR Certification, required within one month of employment
  • Reliable and motivated team player who wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive relationships with a variety of patients, staff, and physicians
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
  • Work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrate commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion
