Job Description

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitized environment in our restaurant. This includes washing and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, as well as keeping the dish room clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly.
  • Provide assistance to prep cooks and other kitchen staff during peak times.
  • Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food and supplies.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years old and possess excellent customer service skills and etiquette. A current Food Handler's Card is also required, where applicable. You should be able to communicate effectively with team members and learn about chemicals used in the building.
