Job Title: Distributor Operator

A Distributor Operator is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of an asphalt distributor truck. The role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to operating procedures at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and spray oils and emulsions on road surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner while gauging the output of the product.
  • Perform maintenance tasks and mechanical duties, including activities in elevated-heights.
  • Load and unload trucks.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License.
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of distributor trucks and related equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Physical Organization and time management.
  • Flexibility in hours - overtime and weekend hours may be necessary.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted.
  • Consent to a DMV license evaluation.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Observe and comply with necessary PPE requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy area with many odors present.
