About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Fresh Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Management: Assist in managing all functions and activities of the Meat/Seafood Department, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Labor Cost Management: Help to manage labor costs and reduce losses by optimizing workflow and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of all Meat Cutters and Meat/Seafood Clerks, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Meat Handling and Cutting: Handle and cut a variety of the department's specialty meats and seafood, adhering to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a meat cutting or related role is preferred.
