As a Driveline Repair Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to reconstruct drivelines within a workshop setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble drivelines
- Clean components, inspect for damage, and dispose of unusable parts
- Measure flywheels using a micrometer; adjust grinder settings and regrind flywheels to meet specifications
- Create a list of necessary replacement components on work orders
- Retrieve new parts from inventory and complete the corresponding documentation
- Paint and label components appropriately
- Reassemble, time, and balance driveline when necessary
- Tag units as required
- Organize units for inventory or customer pickup as needed
- Submit work orders for billing
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and equipment, adhering to all safety and environmental standards

Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, particularly those related to diesel engines and drivelines
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift heavy truck components and remain standing for extended periods
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a secure work environment
- Teamwork Mindset: Proven experience collaborating effectively within a team
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Possession of basic hand tools, or willingness to acquire necessary tools as skills and responsibilities grow (TruckPro provides a tool purchase or reimbursement program)
