Pet Grooming Trainee

At PetSmart, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills as a pet grooming professional. As a Grooming Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of breeds and sizes of dogs, learning from experienced groomers and developing your own unique style.

Our Training Program

• Stage 1: Bather - Get hands-on experience with our pets, learning about different dog breeds and styling.
• Stage 2: Grooming Academy - Attend our paid Grooming Academy, where you'll gain insights from experienced trainers and learn about breed styling, caring for different dog breeds, and using tools and clippers.
• Stage 3: Groomer Trainee - Put your new skills to work in our salon, working with experienced groomers and building your confidence and skills.
• Stage 4: Pet Stylist in Training - Take your skills to the next level, building relationships with your own clients and advising on styles and services.
