About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Slalom. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions using modern data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement robust data architectures that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable data engineering solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and frameworks to remain at the forefront of the field.
  • Act as a mentor and knowledge source within the company and for clients, sharing insights and project learnings regularly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 2 years of demonstrated expertise in data architecture and engineering, specializing in constructing data-focused solutions with major cloud providers and data platforms.
  • Strong hands-on programming skills, proficiency in Python (preferred), SQL (preferred), or Java, with a passion for coding and a commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.
  • Knowledge in infrastructure-as-code is beneficial.
