We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Parker. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver respiratory care procedures to patients in general, acute, critical care, and emergency areas, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform therapeutic modalities, including patient monitoring, medication delivery, ventilation management, expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, such as ABG's, PFT's, EKG's, cardiac, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
- Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care by providing airway maintenance and management, cardiac support, and other assistance as needed to expedite patient and physician needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program.
- Current credential of CRT by N.B.R.C.
- Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
