Position Overview
As a Commercial Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a specialized truck designed for loading and unloading containers at various customer locations. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $22.50 per hour along with a generous sign-on bonus of $2,500.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and manage a commercial vehicle equipped with a unique lift system for container handling.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift equipment.
- Handle additional deliveries as needed to fulfill business requirements.
- Utilize a company-issued handheld device for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as necessary.
- Ensure containers are clean and ready for customer delivery.
- Assist customers with rental documentation and payment processing.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding customer inquiries and issues.
- Perform on-site repairs for containers and lifting equipment.
- Support storage center operations when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Management Structure
This position typically reports to management, with direct supervision from roles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager. Note that this role does not include direct management of other employees.

Job Requirements

- Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction.

- Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Hands-on experience with electronic devices and software is preferred.
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Ability to complete a comprehensive training program.
Physical Demands
- Ability to remain stationary while driving or operating equipment.
- Ability to ascend and descend vehicle and equipment safely.
- Frequent movement required to operate machinery and deliver containers.
- Occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong vision and spatial awareness for safe vehicle operation.
- Frequent use of hands for various tasks.

Working Conditions
