Prepare patients for blood draws by explaining the procedure, verifying patient information, and labeling blood samples properly.

  • Communication and Patient Support

Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they are comfortable and at ease during the blood draw process. Provide emotional support to nervous or frightened patients.

  • Medical Support

Assist healthcare professionals with medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags, and test tubes. Maintain sanitary work areas to prevent the spread of disease and infection.

  • Administrative Tasks

Update patient information in our organization's database accurately and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education and Certification

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical Assistant Certification in good standing is also required.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly when interacting with diverse patient populations.

  • Work Environment and Adaptability

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines is crucial. The Medical Assistant must also be able to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

  • Language Skills

Bilingual skills are highly recommended but not required.

Work Schedule
  • Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Hours and days are subject to change.
