A & T Engineering P.C. is seeking talented Structural Engineers to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that designs adhere to industry codes and standards, meet quality control objectives, and align with project goals within established timelines and budgets.

This opportunity offers the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineers throughout all project phases, from initial planning to final construction.
  • Determine design criteria based on relevant codes and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and prepare detailed models and calculations for various structural elements and systems using advanced software tools and/or manual calculations.
  • Develop comprehensive contract documents, including construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Produce schematic and detailed designs, evaluating planning and concept alternatives to optimize solutions.
  • Review shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly and accurately.
  • Perform on-site inspections and generate detailed inspection reports.
Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with varying levels of experience.

Entry Level Candidates:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Intermediate Level Candidates:
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in concrete or steel framing building structural design, support-of-excavation and foundation system design, steel or concrete rebar shop drawing design, construction support design, and field inspection.
Advanced Level Candidates:
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8+ years of extensive experience in concrete or steel framing building structural design, support-of-excavation and foundation system design, steel or concrete rebar shop drawing design, construction support design, and field inspection.
  • NYS PE License.
