Position Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing both routine and advanced diagnostic tests across various laboratory sections. This role involves the application of standard and specialized methodologies, utilizing a range of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute diagnostic testing with precision and attention to detail.
- Report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize technical expertise to enhance patient care through effective laboratory practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid NYSED License is essential.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred, which may include completion of an ASCP educational program.
- Proficiency in computer data entry is required.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $45.499 per hour to $56.021 per hour, commensurate with experience.
