Job Title: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team at ReVida Recovery Centers LLC.

The primary purpose of this role is to promote and provide outreach to the community about our services, providing positive engagement with clinical teams to enhance education and health services for clients.

About the Role:

  • This position creates an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a calm attitude when interacting with staff, patients, and visitors.
  • You will efficiently assist patients in navigating our processes and address their needs related to these functions.
  • You will collaborate with the clinical team in all decision-making regarding special circumstances that may present with patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare providers, community organizations, coalitions, local governments, and potential referral sources to promote our services.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other individuals or organizations to generate referrals.
  3. Educate healthcare professionals and community stakeholders about our treatment programs and services related to opiate use disorder.
  4. Organize and conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and other educational events to increase awareness and referral rates.
  5. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and follow-up with referred clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Human Services Field, or equivalent
  • Certification: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
  • Experience: Must have experience working in a medical office environment in the mental health and substance abuse fields.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and qualifications.
