About the Role

Cascade Lumber Company, a family-owned and operated lumber yard, has been providing high-quality building materials in Eastern Iowa since 1953. We are seeking an experienced full-time Salesperson/Estimator to assist customers with their building material needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers with their building material needs.
  • Answer inquiries and product questions to provide excellent customer service.
  • Review plans and generate accurate material lists and estimates for a variety of projects, including homes, additions, garages, decks, remodels, agricultural buildings, and light commercial buildings.
  • Generate sales/purchase documentation for special order items.
  • Follow projects through completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • One or more years of related experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with building materials and construction drawings.
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • AUTOCAD experience or ability to learn.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
