Job Description

At ITW, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' satisfaction by providing top-notch technical support and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to perform verification, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of Instron products
  • Utilize electro-mechanical systems knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical advancements to provide best-in-class support

Requirements:

  • Two or four-year technical degree from an accredited university or equivalent military/trade school training
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, including mechanics and electronics
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical information, including blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
  • Prior field service experience and automation systems knowledge a plus
