About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience:
    • Provide proactive and personalized support to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience.
    • Utilize our sales program to promote the sale of relevant products and services, driving sales and revenue growth.
    • Stay up-to-date on planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Store Operations Commitment:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to company guidelines and standards.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including scanning, investigating, and filling inventory lows and outs.
    • Support freight processes and maintain a neat and organized freight sorting area.
  • Print and Tech Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge through sales and service tools, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training.
    • Continuously educate yourself on new products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest technology and print solutions.
  • Sales Techniques:
    • Apply effective sales techniques to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, supporting the company's loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required, but a passion for sales and customer service is essential.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use technology for information and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
