Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses to care and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- 1 year of relevant clinical experience in pediatric ICU or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
Variable days, 7:30pm to 8:00am (Full-Time Nights).
Salary and BenefitsAs per civil service guidelines, with a salary range of $101,264 to $122,056 based on years of experience and education, plus shift and/or inconvenience pay.
