NutraCo is a leading provider of Clinical Nutrition Services to Long Term Care facilities across the United States. We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Registered Dietitian to join our team in a Part-Time capacity (24 hours per week) near Oneonta, NY.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent NutraCo's commitment to providing compassionate care with respect and dignity to residents.
  • Address nutrition-related health problems in residents, including malnutrition, undesirable weight loss, wound healing, chronic disease states, enteral nutrition therapy, parenteral nutrition therapy, and other nutrition-related diagnoses.
  • Partner with other dietitians and facility staff to ensure optimal care for residents.
  • Complete 8-10 assessments per day, including new admission, follow-up, quarterly, and annual assessments.
  • Chart within the EMR system.
  • Attend meetings, including interdisciplinary team meetings, weight meetings, care plan meetings.
  • Complete daily meal rounds.
  • Complete a monthly sanitation audit.
  • Sign off on dietary menus.
  • Complete Section K of MDS.
  • Work with the Dietary Technician or Clinical Nutrition Manager to manage care of residents, if applicable.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and provide annual verification or be Registration Eligible with a verification statement.
  • Meet state licensure guidelines.
  • Meet Facility Vaccination Requirements.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Previous LTC or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred but not required.
