CT Technologist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role:

  • Provide computerized assisted tomographic services to patients on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis.
  • Operate the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system with sound and thorough knowledge.
  • Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely and with modesty, utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices as needed.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
  • Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.

Requirements:

  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
