Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in the field of personal injury law to enhance our dynamic legal team at Herrman & Herrman Law Firm P.L.L.C. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional legal representation while ensuring superior client service.

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid license to practice law in Texas, have graduated from an accredited law school, and maintain good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.

The successful applicant will be self-driven, possess excellent negotiation abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. While support will be provided, the candidate should have the expertise to independently manage and advance ongoing cases. Experience in litigating claims and preparing for trial is crucial. Candidates should ideally have one to three years of experience specifically in personal injury litigation, with a solid foundation in discovery processes, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities: The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing a personal injury case docket
  • Initiating lawsuits
  • Conducting depositions
  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests
  • Preparing clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials
  • Evaluating claims in collaboration with claims representatives
  • Collaborating with paralegals and legal secretaries to manage written discovery, summarize records, coordinate depositions, and prepare for trials.
