Job Summary

As an Electrical Foreman at Overland Contracting Inc, you will be responsible for leading a team of electricians in the planning, installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems. You will oversee the work of your team, ensuring that it is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians in the installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Plan and coordinate the work of your team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other systems and meet the needs of the project.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team of electricians.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State Electrical License.
  • NCCER Electrical Certification.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or lead electrician.
Work Environment

The Electrical Foreman will work in a construction environment, overseeing the installation and repair of electrical systems. The work will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Competencies

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
